Anderson's Cove, Trinity Bay

Anderson's Cove has been determined a site of the Maritime Archaic Indians 4000 to 5000 years ago. Artifacts are displayed at the Sealing and Whaling Museum in South Dildo, and the Interpretation Centre in Dildo.

Today the site is recognized as one of the best beaches in the New Harbour / Dildo area. Local people have picnics, make outdoor fires, and have barbecues. They also climb cliffs and collect shells, rocks and starfish. In early July, the caplin roll on the beaches.
