If you feel especially adventurous, you may have it with Newfoundland's own Brookfield "BLUEBERRY ICE CREAM" and top it off with homemade "BLUEBERRY SAUCE".

Cooked Fresh Daily

Location and History

The Country Corner is located in the heart of Historic Brigus across from Wilcox Gardens. As you make your way through the town, you can enter Water Street from either North or South Street. The Country Corner is located in the centre of the street across from Brigus Town Hall.

The Country Corner was built in 1914 as the Bank of Nova Scotia. It was purchased in the early 1930's by the late J. W. Hiscock (grandfather of the present owner) as the centre of his Labrador fish business. It remained as an office for the company of J. W. Hiscock Sons Limited until the early 1970's when the office was moved to their new fish plant on the water front. The Country Corner opened for business on June 15, 1993.
